The new Galaxy S II is quite a looker actually. It’s extremely thin at just 8.49mm (probably the thinnest smartphone around) and very light at 116g. It feels really elegant and you just can’t get over how thin it really is. The 4.3′ inch Super AMOLED Plus screen supports 16 million colors and features a WVGA resolution. The screen also claims to reduce power consumption by 18%.
The Galaxy S II features what is known internally as Orion 1GHz dual-core processor and will now be officially Exynos. Also, the phone comes with a sumptuous 1GB RAM just like the Motorola Atrix and double to that of LG Optimus 2X.
Furthermore, the Galaxy S II features an 8 megapixel camcorder with LED flash, capable of 1080p video recording.
Enjoy the hands-on video!
Below is a 1080p recording made using Samsung Galaxy S II. Don’t forget to switch to 1080p viewing mode.
