The launch details of HTC’s Droid Incredible 4G LTE is now official. The phone will retail in the US for $149.99 with a 2-year service agreement. There is also a $50 mail-in rebate. This new Droid will make it to the Verizon Wireless Communication Stores and the official site on July 5.
HTC’s new Droid has a 4-inch super LCD qHD display (540 x 960 pixel resolution). It comes with 8GB of internal memory and 1GB RAM. A microSD card up to 32GB can be used to boost internal memory. It is powered by 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor. It runs using Google’s Android 4.0 Ice-cream Sandwich with HTC Sense UI 4.0.
On the imaging front, it has a 8MP rear autofocus camera with LED flash and a BSI sensor. It can record 1080p video at 30fps. It has stereo sound recording and simultaneous HD video and image recording. On the front, it has a 1.3MP capable of 720p video.
HTC Incredible comes with a complete host of connectivity options. We are really glad to see that the phone can be used as a mobile hotspot to network with up to 10 Wi-Fi enabled devices. The Droid supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct and DLNA. Like its other recently launched handsets, HTC adds Beats Audio to this one as well. Plus, there is a 1,700mAh battery which we believe should give enough juice to last through a single day on normal use.
